So sleepy.
Went to bed around 11:00 after folding laundry. Woke up at 4:00 to the plow truck outside my window. Got out of bed at 5:00, out of the room by 6:00. Realized at my second to last stop that I didn’t have enough bagels for the last place. Fixed it. Once released from my volunteer duties, went to the bagel place for lunch, as a thank you for their help. Ate lunch in my room, flipped through YouTube clips of Modern Family. Laughed. Eventually decided the screening I wanted to attend, and left. Walked the half mile to Starbucks where I currently reside, trying to slurp up this caffeinated drink before I fall over onto the floor and into a deep sleep.
And, despite the tired state, despite the mistakes with bagels, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Must it be Friday already?
